Supertool 300 fits the surge.

The only modification needed for the rebar jaws to fit the wave is you have to grind about 1/8th inch off the scissors.
 
I know with the ST300 and surge you have to snap off the little piece inside the handle. I HATE breaking stuff lol
 
I seen this done a few times before, really dig it. The last one I saw he bobbed the pliers to more of a blunt nose instead of bobbing the scissors.

I belive he still had to bob the scissors. The hit on the bump from the replaceable wire cutters.
 
Baja, how do you like the mod so far? i have a wave i use for ems work and have thought about doing this, but with blunt nose (dont really need needle nose pliers to crack an o2 bottle.....).

I love it! I would never put the old jaws back on it.

To be honest I would be surprised if they didn't honor the warranty even with the mods.

I took an original super tool into their Portland headquarters that was completely destroyed (not by me I bought it for five bucks) I'm talking every tool snapped off destroyed. I offered to pay for the repair. The lady didn't even flinch she just tossed it in a bin and handed me a new one.

That be awesome if they stood by it. Would you happen to know if the rebar head will fit on a charge?
 
Ohhhhh that's a good question..... I don't own a charge. I think it will but I'm not sure. Metropolicity would know he's on multi tool.org and edcforums.
