I just pulled the trigger on a LionSteel SR-2 Red Aluminum today. I've never held one but I've been jonesing for one since the first time I saw a photo of one. I'm new at this knife thing and it's an addiction. The SR-2 is one of 4 knives this weekend.

Sounds like a good weekend to me. The fit and feel in hand will probably set a new standard for you.

You'll love it, OP! Just got a SR-2A in orange this week and I like it a lot. Needs a little time to break in, though...

Congrats!

Would you be able to take comparison pics - like with a Spyderco or Benchmade. I've been on the fence for one these but in Ti, and it's hard to visualize for me just comparing spec numbers. Next to a knife I know helps.

I really like my DPx folders, so I'm guessing the SR2 would great too. Lionsteel seems to have the stuff together with fit & finish, utilizing high grade components.

Welcome to the addiction, it gets worse luckily guns are still a priority in collecting for me as well so otherwise I would have had an expensive knife weekend at the gunshow, instead just a few good gun scores.

What Spyderco and Benchmade knives would you like to see next to the LionSteel SR-2 Titanium?

Sure thing! I'm not a very good photographer but I hope these help... :)

I received my SR-2a today. Its great, really nice fit and finish. My only complaint is that it came shall I say very unsharp. That can be fixed. I can see a few more in my future. I now want a Ti.

Yeah this has been the case with both of mine as well. The first one was a catch and release but I re-profiled my SR-1D to a V edge and it cuts waaayyyyyy better.
