i have ben spoiled since the beginning with a water jet cutter,, i am goin old school to learn to grind on my kmg better.. I hand profiled this out of .260 A-2 barstock..... chisile grind.. 3.0 inch blade,,,,, gettin straight paracord wrap.. gonna HT tomorra.. i got inspired by my Mang.. Mike Snody... i took a sharpie to a piece of steel and made something...What you guys thank? ...........look out Guys... Horton is comin off the Mill and becoming a custom knife maker..

Good for you, becoming a real knife maker! ;) Next you'll have to start forging.

btw, for a rightie, you have put the chisel on the 'wrong' side of the blade. If you try to cut something with a chisel grind, it is better to have the flat side on the left, or else the grind acts like a ramp to move the edge out of the cut.
 
I'm aware of the handing, I have used large knives that were done backward. And have expierenced what you were talkin about,, this little guy is a prybar, I wanted the leading edge where I could see it,, I'm gonna sharpen it with a true asyem edge, it should work well,, and by the way I do have a anvil,,,, lol
 
Whatever side the grind is on the edge will divide whatever it touches...
