I found this beauty yesterday and cut a deal for cash. Unfortunately I did not have enough cash on me and they are closed on Wednesday so I can't pick it up until tomorrow. It was made by Canadian Master Knife Maker Bill Schiller and the scrimshaw was done by Elizabeth Dolbare. It was made in 2002 to commemorate the National Wild Turkey Federations Long Islands 10th anniversary. It has the certificate of authenticity and original sheath with it. Since it is my first Mammoth Fossil I wanted to see what some of you guys and gals thought of it.

Looks like a nice buy depending how much you paid. Most purest don't like scrimshaw on ivory as it can detract from the look of the ivory -- especially Mammoth ivory. That being said, looks like a nice knife. Congratulations.

$250 don't know if that was good or bad but I liked it.

Fair price with the documentation and historical value. I've not seen aluminum bolsters on a knife before.

Looks like a nice folder. I really like the sheath. I'm not a fan of knife drawings so that is a pass for me but that is a personal taste thing

Nice collector piece for you.

Although if I'm seeing the pictures correctly, it seems to have been carried, so I'm guessing you'll enjoy using it.
