I guess its never to late even for old guys. After owning sebenzas for over 20 years I finally decided to try my first large micarta insingo.
This one arrived today from one of our great forum members {Atony} Travis is top-shelf all the way to deal with, none better.
This was a lightly carried knife from another forum member {RiverRat84}, Travis re-blasted the knife before he sent it out to me.
His work is some of the best I have ever seen, You can not tell this knife from new, So if you ever get the chance to deal with Travis don't hesitate.
You won't be disappointed.

Damn! Looks great!

Travis is definitely a top notch guy with a lot of talent and nice as they come:thumbup:

Glad she got a good home bub:)

Your micarta looks darker than mine. Mine has a sort of salt and pepper black and gray look to it. Does re-blasting it make it darker? I like it.

Looks great, and good to see a third great forum member own this fine knife:thumbup:

Rub it down with WD-40 thats what Atony uses

Rub a little mineral oil into it. It will stay dark for quite some time before needing a refresh.

The minimal clean flowing lines of that knife will never get old, very nice! My apologies if this is obvious to everyone, but is the Travis you refer to the same Travis from Edged Specialties? If so, I wasn't aware of the fact that he reconditions knives too.

No different Travis, Travis from Edged Specialties is from Arizona I believe, Travis that did mine is in Indiana

Rick, thanks for the kind words.....Use the heck out of that Insingo, it really is a great EDC.
