Nice knives. Congrats and enjoy! Yes, the blade play you demonstrated is normal for double action otf's. love my utx-70 as well. Keep it on my key ring and its a great functional little blade. Use it all the time.
 
Great knives! Like every one already said blade play is normal in OTF knives. Microtech in my opinion has the least amount of play out of play than the other OTF brands. I really like that tanto UT! Congrats on the new knives
