My first modification

Aftering doodling a lot of knives with a similiar design I figured I'd give a shot on a cheapie S&W knife. All I used was a bench mounted grinder (making sure to keep the blade cool with a glass of water). I plan to finish it up with a file later.This is pretty rough but I'll cut myself some slack as I've never done anything like this before. Here are the pics.

Cool! About 2-3 years ago I made a Buck Alpha drop point fixed blade into a tanto as well. I was bored and thought, what the heck. I used a Dremel (and water) with good results. Now I catch myself daydreaming about putting a forge in the back yard, solely to create blades. On second thought, what are you doing to yourself?
