My First Mule: MT16 Blem

Better late than never I guess. Just came today. I have been looking at these for a while and saw the blems so I went for it. It's going to be a user anyway. I already had a sheath, a #4 from Ray at Wild Boar Blades. It should fit perfect once I figure out where to get some handles made. Anyone know where to get scales for these besides Halpern Titanium?

I couldn't really find a blem on mine
Unless it's that one sides grind goes down slightly further than the other
Cause it's like that on my Native as well

I ordered mine from Spyderco 2 fridays ago
looks to be out of stock now

I picked mine up at the SFO the week they became available. There's a very slight blem line on the blade by the stamp on mine. Hard to tell it's a blem.

That is a much better blem than the two I picked up, but I am not complaining because the price was great!

With the MT16 they offered regular models and blem models, available only through the company store. I don't know if they did this on any previous models.

Yes, I purchased this directly from the Spyderco website. I don't see a mark on it but it does have the faint line across the CTS XHP to indicate it's a blem. I have no complaints so far about this knife.

As far as scales go, check evil bay. Just search for Spyderco Mule, there's at least one seller that does them.

I've got 2 blem's coming my way, presently at HM Customs! Very keen to get my mitt's on 'em!
