I kept looking at everyone elses "Nessmuk" style knives and liked them so I thought I'd try to make one. I wish now that I had used a carbon steel but I didn't have any when this was made so it ended up being ATS34. The handles are a piece of elk antler that I split and flattened out. I'm still working on getting my flats nice and clean and since this was made I've figured out how to do some things better.

Comments and critiques are very welcome. I need to know what to do better next time.

Thanks for looking,
SDS

actually, I think it's a very nice knife. I love the lines and the handle is smokin!

The sheath is really nice too. Did you do that?

Thanks for the comments guys. I'll do a few things differently on my next one but I like the way this one feels.

BDWS, yes, I made the sheath too. I was going to make a more traditional sheath then thought about a really rustic one. I compromised and made this one. There is a spot there on the front that looks like a cut. It was just a scar in the leather that really stood out after staining the it. It is pretty heavy leather with artificial sinew used to hand stitch it.

Thanks again for the comments.

Pretty neato really. Like a bird and trout Nessmuk. I like it a lot!
