I exclusively carried one Endura since about 4 months after they were released until about 6 months ago. It did everything I needed a knife to do for my lifestyle. It even took my occasional abuse and just kept on performing. It only got semi-retired when I started collecting.
I have a lot of Spyderco's on my "want list" but for some reason or another I kept choosing one of the other brands/models that I also desired. Well finally after all these years since my first Spyderco I finally purchased what is now my favorite knife, the Rock Salt.
I was recently asked if I was forced to only take a single knife over all others in a survival/SHTF situation which would it be. Without hesitation the Rock Salt was my answer, and that is before ever using one.
It may be my first in many years but the other couple fixed knives and the 8+ folders Spyderco makes that are on my "want list" will be added to my collection soon. I haven't been this happy about a purchase in a long time.
