My first Norlund, picked it off Ebay. Probably going to hang it this weekend.

Hi 5F,

Nice Norlund! I want a "Hudson Bay" Axe as well. I've been buying Axes, Hatchets and Knives all Summer and I had to pass on a nice Hudson Bay Axe last week due to low funds (and it's killing me)! I think it was a Collins Hudson Bay if memory serves. That being said, I'd LOVE to find another Norlund. Of the thirty or so Axes/Hatchets I bought this Summer, my very first purchase was a Norlund double bit "Saddle Cruiser" which appears to be a rather rare'ish find. If I could find/purhcase only one more Axe this Summer, I think I would want just what you bought, a NORLUND "Hudson Bay". Enjoy!

Regards,
HARDBALL

Keep following them on ebay. You'. Find a better one than you missed. I' bought 13 axes on ebay, and there's only 1 I regret not bidding more.

I bought a Norlund Hudson Bay ax in college at a junk store. In spite of doing a lot of wood cutting and brush clearing growing up, that little ax taught me quite a bit about ax capabilities. I think you'll be happy with it once you get a handle on it.
