It's also the one I am most excited about, the Ultimate Hunter. The redesign is most welcome and I'm excited to try out the new steel. Now the waiting.
 
I got one the day they came out.
I loved the prototype and had been eagerly waiting for them to come in!

It's an awesome knife. I think you are going to love it
It's like a Demko twist on the classic Lloyd Pendleton / Lynn Thompson collaboration from back in the day.
 
Let us know what you think of it I'm quite interested in this model as well. And post pictures please if you can.

I've been carrying the new Ultimate Hunter for about a week. So far I really like it.
I'm a big fan of Andrew's designs and I carried an American Lawman for a long time. When I handled the prototype back in the day I immediately knew I needed to get this knife!
The old model was very popular with the team here at CS HQ but I never carried one. I was eager to try the new version.
The Hunter's ergos are great and it's very comfortable in-hand.
It's still early days, but my first impressions are very good.
I like it a lot
 
I am very interested in the new Ultimate Hunter as well, haven't pulled the trigger on it yet but I do have one of the new American Lawman en route. Looking forward to the new steel and the less-pocket-shreddy G10 :). Hoping it will arrive tomorrow.
 
I'm not sure why I can't post images right now, but as a quick fix I asked our Facebook guy to share my photo on the Official CS Fan Page

Lots of cool pics there. Thanks for the link. When you said thinner scales on the Lawman you weren't kidding!
 
I've been struggling to get a sense of how thick the handle is based on the pictures, does it seem very thick in the hand or while carrying it in a pocket?

Instructed the older scales had some beef to them but they were still pretty thin compared to other knives of it's size.
 
New Lawman looks great. G-10 scales look like they'll be much more comfortable. Also think they just plain look better - less cheap.
 
My ultimate hunter arrived! I'm pleased. The only complaint, and that would be nitpicking, is that the grind is off just a little. Nothing that would effect use. Lockup is rock solid and it's scary sharp. Great value.
