I got this 2 dot 112 in the mail a couple days ago. Its the first 112 I've had that doesn't have a nail nick, or radiused edges.
I know the pic isn't the greatest, but I just got our backup camera working and with the wind blowin, it is cold outside...

Nice lookin 112 338, just about mint by the looks of it-I think nail nics came out in 1980.

Thanks for the compliments. It is close to mint. Far as I can tell, it never cut anything, just layed around. I'm thinking now I need to get a 3 dot and 4 dot to go with it :D I do likes the 112's....

Yes it was the big auction site. It was in the wrong category though, so it didn't get much attention.
And the wife says all the time I spend on the 'puter is a waste of time:D

Nice find..."You've got it bad and that ain't good." Wish I didn't understand...

I think that there's a BCCI 112 that was done sometime ago without the nail nick. Preston

Unless Scott or Clint says different, I will stick my foot out and say 5th version, Variation 4.

338, That is a nice one. I would say which ever one shows up first grab it.
I just love those old slab side 112's.

You know--It's bad to feel this way, but it's like the old saying misery loves company. It's kinda neat when you see a new friend getting caught up in finding a new knife, sharing new finds you. You have a great one.

338, Great find . As distasteful as it is, I must agree with Craig 5-4 from 1976-79 maybe as early as 1975 . Thanks for posting the photo . DM

Thanks for all the compliments and info. I need to start learnin the version / variation thing...
I am very happy with it. I pulled out an older Schrade LB7 Uncle henry that I have to compare, knowing that the lb7 would be bigger, but it just doesn't have the feel in hand of a Buck

Tin,I think your right!Mr.3 try a finger groove for your next 'old' 112....
