Wednesday I get an unexpected call from Heather at CRK letting me know that my order from last October is "sort of" ready to ship if I would like. It wasn't the exact configuration I had ordered but she made it very clear that if I had any complaints about what shipped they would make it right.

I think she was a little surprised when I didn't need a day or two to round up funds and whipped out my debit card.

So, I'm eagerly awaiting a Wednesday delivery of my new EDC.

It will be a user, though I'm very careful with my stuff. Anyone know if this ships with a leather pocket sleeve? I totally forgot to ask, but the wife was nearby and I didn't want to ask too many questions. I'm keeping this one under her radar until I let her order her online shopping cart. LOL!

I haven't decided yet if I will carry it with clip or inside the pocket. What do most of you do with the small? I lost a Spyderco Dragonfly 2, ZDP-189 out of my pocket back pocket while riding with the clip. I never heard it hit the ground. Now I carry its replacement (same day) daily inside my pocket.

Great choice! I keep my small Micarta clipped in my front right pocket. I think you will find the CRK clip design to be one of, if not the best clip design available. The way it is bent gives 2 different points of retention. One being right below the seam of the pocket (if you are wearing jeans). It really is very secure, and if it does pop out for some reason, I think it would be more noticeable than one that was a little more loose. Also, I think it does come with the leather pouch, but someone else would have to confirm that as mine didn't come with one (I bought it off of the exchange).

I believe that only wood inlays come with a sheath - someone correct me if I am wrong. LOL on the wife; you sound like me keeping these under the radar!
 
Congrats! My small micarta has ended up with the most pocket time and is a definite favourite :thumbup:.

I used to laugh at people that would say things like this but when I started to accumulate a few CRK's in quick succession I realised flying under the radar was essential to life as I knew it...:(
 
...mostly I have to keep things under the radar for fear she will want one too. We have 2 of so many things around here it's whacky. Her Sig P938 SAS sits in the case unused while mine rides daily IWB. Ugh.
