Just thought Id share this with you guys and gals on how I first got interested in the Khuk.
Back in the early70s (1970 to be exact ) I was going to school in northern Scotland. My classmate invited me home one weekend to his parents house, as a Yank I was kind of a celebrity. His father was one of the docters in the area and he had a small collection of war memorbilia that his grandad had passed down to him. Among the souvenirs was a large Khukuri. That was my favorite from the group. There were other arms, Lugars, machineguns and such but that blade stuck in my mind. Totally unique.

Sweet...my first exposure was similar in that a friends Dad had one hanging on the wall of his basement recreation room bar (my first Cantina?). He never *let* us use it...
