Well I have been wanting to make a blade for awhile, and finally had a chance to try my hand at it. I was fortunate enough to pick up some pieces of damascus from Alabama Damascus last weekend at Blade. I went to work right when I got home with a drawing I came up with. I don't have to best tools for the job, but got it done. I must say once I started I just wanted it finished. I still need to make some scales out of some G10 I got, but until then I just wrapped it. I ran into some trouble a few times, but all in all I like how it came out. I already know what I want to improve on next time. Oh yea, and its pretty damn sharp. So here is what it started out as.

Here is what it ended up as.

beautiful design, sweet filework (looks like you went around the front and back with it) love the pommel and it looks very sharp!
Keep at it and you'll have your own table at Blade next year

:D

Thanks, and yep the filework goes all the way around. I am going to start working on the scales tonight so you are able to see it all the way around.
