My first peanut!

There's something i've got to share:

I've received my first peanut! It's a very nice easy opening Kabar 1019:

According to BRL, it was called a "Pony Jack Knife" in the 1976 Kabar catalogue...

I'm very eager to see if this little knife will get me through the day. It shouldn't do too bad, if i can believe its supporters over here...

This little one measures 7cm, which should be 2 3/4".
This means it's even smaller than a case peanut, which is 2 7/8...
(do correct me if i get my maths wrong, i'm not that used to inches yet)

Yes, if that is the correct translation it is a bit smaller than a normal peanut. I'll have to trust you on that as I've never got used to metric.
