I've been making knives for about 18 months now and I'm finally getting around to posting here. I post a lot of my work on instagram with the username origin_hg if anyone cares to follow me.
Anyway this is my most recent Chef's knife. The blade is 01 tool steel with a hand rubbed satin finish. The handle is Desert Ironwood. I was amazingly fortunate and found a big piece of it in a thrift store that someone had carved into a coyote. I promptly bought it and made it into a knife handle.
