so this is my first post, i'v heard of this site before but never decided to join up.

I have been doing knife sharpening and restoration for about 7 months now. Here is a piece of work i just completed, if anybody has any comments or questions about it, just post em up. This is a knife the guy found in his lawn.

Thanks

Welcome to BF

Looks nice but do you have any better/more detail pics?

i posted pictures that are too large, 1 sec, it'll show better detail on smaller ones.

Also have a few more on my digital camera to get too.

Knifenut, that 760 would cut so much better with a Krein grind! The bevel looks great, is it 40 inclusive or more? At 30 inclusive on my factory grind my 760's bevels looked twice as wide as yours do, and I know yours have been thinned out.

I like her as a fatty :) not sure the angle but its a bit lower now (pic was from when I first got it) I have to turn the knife or I will rub the thumb stud :D

Charging batteries I have a new pic up soon.

Knifenut, do what I do with Benchmades when I sharpen them, remove the thumbstud. It makes knife a lot easier to sharpen at sane angles without having the thumbstuds bouncing off of your sharpening stones.
