Was reading Primble's Old John Primble Knives & Display Case thread and decided I wanted a Primble Barlow. My requirements were:

1. Wanted one from MY childhood so the 1968 to 1986 fit the bill perfectly. Belnkap Inc. Stamp.

2. Wanted a user. Meaning it will be in my pocket so no pristine models that I would scratch. Didn't mind honest wear.

Really liked the delrin scales on this one over all the ones I have seen so I bought it. Going to use it for every day carry so I am not worried about the worn blades. From what I read this is made by Boker.

The pen blade is in good shape, the main blade looks like it saw some use with a rounded tip and the slight curve in the middle

The blades snap great after a good 000 steel wool scrub (didn't take the dark spots off though) and then a WD 40 soak and dry and 30 seconds on my paper wheels and both blades are shaving hair.

Nothing fancy just a pocket carry to go with my Buck 110

Nice Barlow knife, Boker eh? Great little user. I like the pen on that side, so both blades open from the mark side.

I love bringing an old knife back to life! One of the best parts, as you mention, is not having to worry about wear:thumbsup: That is a nice example that you found, some of those barlows that I have come across were shadows of their original form...
