My First Ralph...A Question Darrell.

Nice meeting you at the show - never did get a chance to talk - it was a little busy. I had noticed that knife on Les's table - absolutely gorgeous - looks a lot better than in the pictures - you won't be disappointed - I just got an "Extreme" Apogee and Darrel makes incredible knives. He will tell you though that one of the requirements of owning his knives is you have to use them! It will be hard to use that one but he will refinish it when the blade coating gets worn. He makes his knives to be used( the fact they are gorgeous is just an additional bennie!). I know that knife will give you years of enjoyment.

Bill

P.S. Hi Darrel! The package is on the way - you should get it tomorrow. I still it's possessed! He He He!

Pen
I have called several priests and a few other guru's WE pray over it and hope to remove the evil within hahahaha
The Knife you have chef is a special made for a person who wanted one with no holes and whitish ivory.
Hope it works out well for you :]

Take a look!!!

Darrell,

Thanks for the response! Its a beautiful knife! The dealer I got it from said the special order guy had backed out of the deal, so he (the dealer) kept his deposit and sold me the knife (never know what to believe from the guy standing behind the table!)

Bill,

Ah...this knife was not from Les, but from the dealer with the white hair and beard on the corner (several down from Les). While many people (including Les) had no autos on the table, this guy was selling Vallotton SOF, D&D, Nemesis, etc, like it was Oregon!! It was great!!!

Just to notice; many people standing around (even among the knife crowd) were quite taken aback by the moral-decaying, murder-inducing weapons being shown!

Thanks for chatting Les! Good to see you guys (Bill, Paracelsus, Damon!)

Chef,
I knew I saw it, but couldn't remember whose table it was on - I remember now that it was on the other end from Les(this getting old is for the birds!) - there were a lot of wonderful knives on those three tables. You definately got a nice one - I looked it over very carefully(if I hadn't spent all my money on the Extreme & another knife I would have snapped that one up myself).

Bill

P.S. Darrel - Glad to hear you're calling in professionals - hope the exorcism is successful - package will arrive by 3:00 tomorrow.

Brian,
This knife is possessed - we are trying to reclaim the "soul" - normal means haven't been successful so we're trying something different - believe me this one is worth saving!

Bill

Sorry, meant to have a smiley there - get it? Soul-Sole...

Best of luck with your problem child. I'm sure Darrel will be able to fill it with all the best juju!

Brian,
No apologies necessary - I understood - didn't know Larry Chew was into VooDoo -haven't visited his site lately. Was that "problem child" as in 'The Exorcist'? If this doesn't work Darrel & I are going to have to go to New Orleans down to the French Quarter - I know of this woman there who is known for having some pretty strong JuJu. Movie to follow - "Exorcist IV - The Cutting Edge"?

Bill

Thanks for the link - pivot mechanism sounds great - I had figured it was a new model - need to pay his new site a visit.

re: EXORCIST - the pea soup was easy enough to clean out of the pivot - it was the blade rotating 360 deg. that was scary - then when my other knives(over 100) started circling the room .... I made it out alive!
