Randall Model 14 Attack- bought directly from Randall with every intention of hanging it on my kit and using it for it's intended purpose (or as an expensive MRE opener, one), but it really is a work of Art, and I'd hate to see anything happen to it.... might have to just buy another, right?
I've been playing around with it since I got it, and I have to say- I now see how people call these knives Works of Art. It just... feels right in the hand, and earnestly feels like an extension of the forearm. the only thing I dislike about the blade is that there's a few dark spots on it, and it's been at the house for just over a day. But at any rate... I'm hooked on Randall now!
I have a Model 1 with Walnut handle and double cross guard that I got from Randall back in the mid 1960's when I was about to get drafted for 'nam. Didn't get drafted, but the Randall is still my prized heirloom knife; right along with the Queen barlow my grandfather gave in when I was 8. That's what started a 60+ year journey on collecting. Have had several other Randalls; but got talked into selling them . Never that first Model 1. Congrats on a great knife.
