A client of mine asked me for anything special, he has a Randall who has nearly 50 years in his hand is about 15 years and more than 30 on hand the first owner who handed him a gift and save more now that he like her but he loves the style of knife has asked me to copy it so that a little more, I found the challenge interesting and an honor to copy this myth of cutlery ameriacana. Hope you enjoy. Hugs.

I'm going to owe you the exact measurements.
The cable is Jacaranda customer choice.
I copied the sheath too.

Good work on both knife and sheath.

I learned a lot doing a copy of Loveless and plan to do a Randall this winter.

Also plan to try a Scagel. Kind of working back, to move forward.

I thought you guys may be interested in seeing pics of this one. It started out it's life as a ~ 1944 Randall Hunter with stacked leather handle and aluminum buttcap with brass nut and washer. Maybe three years ago the owner decided he wanted a Micarta handle on it, so he tore off the whole handle assembly and sent it to the Randall shop for a refit! The shop told him they wouldn't do that, so he ended up selling what was left of the knife to another guy. The new owner sent it to Jim Behring for a rehandle and I saw it at Blade 2 years ago. Jim did a beautiful job as usual. The guy then sold the knife to a friend of mine in South Carolina who is pretty good with his hands. My friend finished it up in the old Randall / Scagel style. I think it turned out pretty well.
