What's up ladies and gents, I am new to the forum. I've been lurking for a while gathering info and oogling different blades and wanted to share my first ESEE.

So I have been carrying this RC-3MIL for the last 6 or so months and am completely in love with it. I thought it was a little bit large for carrying at work so what else was I to do other than buy an Izula. I just got this little number yesterday...

I love the size of the Izula, unfortunately I had the same issue with these knives that I do with firearms. I bought a .22 and it felt to small, so I bought a .357 to go with it. Well this Izula is a great knife, don't get me wrong, but it was lacking a little something so I ended up with this little guy...

I love these knives and damn you all for making me want one (or two) of each of them. :D They are definitely an addiction that has no sign of slowing down.

very cool man, yeah i had the izula for a couple months, and just got an ESEE-3 in wednesday, they are great knives! congrats!

How does that 6 feel? I am in a similar situation. I started with a HEST, now an izula is headed my way. Next up, a larger ESEE. Does the 6 feel too big or it just the right kinda blade for a pig hunt/ camp out?

I wouldn't hesitate to pick the 6 for backpacking/camping. Might be overkill depending on the type of camping and the level of roughage, but I think I would rather have a knife that would be able to conquer any task. It really feels awesome in the hand. I really want to get out and use the 6. The lack of use and cleanliness of the blade is starting to mock me.

I can say that at least this addiction is cheaper than a Busse addiction. I can condone spending a couple hundred dollars on multiple ESEE's than over $500 on one Busse.

I picked up my RC4 a long while ago and love the damn thing it's always with me, I'll be expanding my EESE collection now

I bought an Izula about a week ago. My girlfriend and 2 other roommates, along with myself absolutely loved it. So much so that I ordered a pink izula for the gf and will most likely be picking up either a 5 or 6 inch or possibly the Junglas in the very near future.

Wow! Saltybirdman, the Izula - ESEE-3 - ESEE - 6 is exactly the set I*want to get, too! Congrats on these!

Welcome on board, now let's see photos of them several months from now being used in the field! :D

You got the goods brother. Your money goes along way with ESEE knives. I don't know how they make any money, but their customers are always happy. And if you got happy customers, business is booming.

Does Dr. Drew treat knife addictions? I'd go in there and they would find an Izula hidden up in my bag and an RC-3 stitched up in my suitcase. I don't know if I could take my RC-5 in though. Too painful for me!

Welcome.
