.....and my first foray into the SW forum. A Howling Rat w/ a trio of sheaths. Now the question.....do I use it or put this NIB beauty in the safe?:D

Sweet! Like that kydex on the right. I recently got an od ratchet and a shaker II. Love 'em. Can't put the shaker II down.
Use that cheese, or it'll never ripen.

The small choil Howling Rats are the nicest ones, IMO.

Gen 1 Howling Rat!!!! Awsome.....A knife unused is a knife abused!!!!! That was my favorite before I got a Howling Fat.....I still love that small choil!! And 3 sheaths.....WOW!

I also like the generation 1 choil, but the larger choil fits my big mits well too:thumbup:

Small choils suck! Take a Dremel to that thing and then use the snot out of it! :D

Small (or shallow) Choil Howling Rats ROCK!!!!

That little bit of steel makes it look FAR more substantial as compared to the newer model. I'd trade my new one for a First Gen. in a friggin' heartbeat!! :p
 
Welcome to the SWAMP! My second purchase was the Howling Rat, for the Mrs... She uses that thing for EVERYTHING: cutting up cardboard, gardening, food prep (including tomatos!!!) and everything else!...
