My First Rat

My first Rat (M6) came in the post today. I have an SS4 but this is the first
larger Rat ,Dog or Hog I have sen inperson and I am very impressed.
It feels like a real handfull. I know some people have complained about the handle but it fit's my smaller hands very well although I do like RES C better.
It feels so heavy and solid I think it would be a wicked thrower if the handle could "handle" it. Are these M6's differentialy heat treated.

Thanks guys and it feels good to have a rat. I thought the people on here were crazy when someone called the SS4 light and not very solid feeling but now that I have hefted an M6 I know what you mean.

Congrats Unsub! I really like my M6 too but it did take a little getting use to - after handling the res C knives I own and love. But the more I use the M6 the more I like the micarta handles. Have fun.

It's my go to knife now. I love it. I actually have been ignoring my SJTac since I got an M6 cuz I like the heft of the thicker blade. Otherwise they're fairly similiar, I just like the feel of the M6 better, ya know?
