So I have an RC-5 coming to me with a black blade and black sheath.

I'm excited since this is my first RAT and also my first quality fixed blade knife (had some cheapies when I was a kid, but I don't count those really).

Feel like a gitty little schoolgirl right now... I just had to share, lol. :o:D

Well Congratulations!
Welcome to the wonderful world of owning a RAT Cutlery blade.
You are going to love it!

The RC-5 is an incredible field knife. I am sold. I will be getting and RC-4 and RC-3 Mil in the very near future.

Welcome to the RAT pack! I couldn't get just one so now I have an RC4, RC5 and an RC6. You'll be very pleased with the RC5.

Welcome to the RAT pack! Your gonna love the hefty feel of the RC-5. It's a great "only fixedblade".

Congrats. I've been thinkin real hard about ordering a RAT.

Do it, you won't regret it.;)

Ditto !!

I can promise you you'll not be disappointed with the quality of a RAT. Any RAT. They're made right, feel right, look right and function right.

Besides the fact that this company is run by a damn fine Americans who'll stand behind their products even if you're a few bricks shy of a full load and tear it up prying bricks out of your driveway! -check out the thread on that one! -

No regrets!. Proud to own RATs.

That pretty much sums it up for me also.

Another bitten by the RAT bug? Once you get it, make sure to use it, and use it hard. It is not a knife to go easy on.
