I think I just cried a little lol. It is a RC4 that I bought from RescueRiley here on BF. I think I like the knife even more than I thought I would. The length of it is very handy for outdoorsy stuff, for what it is for that is. Handle material is great and the green liners are a great touch. I really like just about everything.

The only things I either dislike or just don't like as much are the sheath and the handle width/length. The sheath is an easy fix and the handle width is mostly the issue for me. Are there any custom handles you could buy that would be thicker and possibly extend the last little bit to the lanyard hole?

But overall it is great and am all smiles :D. I've been bit!

Thank you sir. Remember, even though you bought it from an individual the warranty is still in play.

Awesome! Is there a way to have vertical carry on the sheath? I took the clips off and it seems the holes don't line up at the top where the knife slides in. not sure if that is just a limitation of it. Not life altering in any case lol.

The MOLLE locks will go vertical. Look at the instruction sheet.

Thanks for the welcome guys, definitely a cool bunch.

As for the molle locks, the side opposite the blade edge seems to sit flush, but the other side doesn't really clear the handle bump in the kydex sheath. Can always use paracord which I have a few hundred feet of anyway.

Went outside and messed around in the woods for a bit. The knife and awesome. It is sharp (seemed easy to sharpen too), though also beefy enough to withstand some serious abuse. Definitely makes me consider the RC6 now. That or other RATs like the izula or the new HEST, giggidy.

Should fit up ok with the rubber washers under the locks

The RC-3 is a great knife and you cant beat the warranty.

You can always hook up with a Kydex Sheath and TEKLOK like this.

This is a mark of a good company that stands behind their well made product. This (among many) is the reason I bought my RATs

Welcome riz and congradulations on your new RAT. About the handles, I thought that too after being use to the Ontario RAT5 which I sold to a friend but the more you use the RC's the more they seem to fit your hand really well.

The warranty is good and definitely gives you some piece of mind.

Thanks for the welcome. I will get used to the handles so it isn't a big deal. The knife has a good weight to it and is very controllable. Though the only truly bad thing about all this is that I am going to lose more money when I buy more RAT knives.
