My first Rat!

I've waited a very long time, but today I ordered my first Swamp Rat.....RatManDu!

I'm very excited for this RMD to arrive (I requested either the black canvas/black blade or the tan canvas/black blade).

The pictures of this knife are awesome, but the testimonials and loyalty to this knife are what beckoned me to the Swamp....:D

Al does FANTASTIC work. I love the Kydex sheath he made for my RMD, and the price was very reasonable for the quality of workmanship.

to go with it..... :D

say that he does GREAT work!! :thumbup:

A small amount,but together we have ordered;
2 kydex RMD's
3 kydex S.Rat's
2 kydex HRLM's
2 Kydex Scrap Yard S5 LE's
and 1 Kydex BWM CG....
Every one fits perfect... And Not one rubs the blade!:thumbup:

Congratulations on your Rat. If you have been poking around and reading I guess you know you are in trouble.... Rats tend to attract other Rats.... and then Hogs and Dogs start showing up and all hell breaks loose :)

I had an original Ratmandu from the first run of black/black G10, I let it go and regretted it ever since. I just ordered a tan/tanker the other day, can't wait to get it.

Seriously though that Ratmandu is gonna be lonely without a Chopweiler around!

Yep, you aren't kidding. I ordered the RMD in August and once I got it I had to get the HRLM. Then of course the Warden had to join the club. Now last week I felt the urge to get a little bigger Rat and picked up the M9CG. Hope that is it for a while.
 
I stuck my toe in the Swamp today with the RMD.....but, who am I kiddin'.....might as well just jump head first into the Swamp cause I'm sure more Rats are gonna be chasin' me...not to mention the Dogs and Hogs right behind them....:D

Now I've had a good friend buy an HRLM, I'm on pre-order for the RatManDeux, and I'm waiting to receive a new Basic 11!!

Its a freakin disease!

I got my RMD several months ago. Your going to be very pleased.

I fell in love with the steel so bad, that i hade a custom maker forge me a chopper from 52100.

And now I'm on the RatManDeux LE pre-order as well.

See how it goes.
 
WOW!!! I received the RatManDu a few days ago and I just can't quit looking at it and carrying it around. I've always heard how nice this knife feels in the hand, and I absolutely concur 100% with that sentiment.

Thanks Eric for such phenomenal service and allowing me the chance to own my first Rat....:thumbup:

The true question is........how many more will I end up buying...:D
