I love it! Interesting scale shape - does it work well during the shave?
Great work, for sure!
Thank you Matthew, today I will sharpen it to 100% and then I will see! However, what that interested me, was to know if I would have been able to make a razor! Cordially, StefanoI love it! Interesting scale shape - does it work well during the shave?

Thank you very much Razorsharp1986 (they were 15 years that I held aside that two bits of snakew.) ... Regards!Great job!
The snakewood looks absolutely astounding.
I hardened personally "my" 440C to 59/60 Hrc and the edge is thin as the one of carbon steel, but if I cut me, it would not be with a rusted iron... But with a razor what I have make it my self, alone, with a one-of-a-kind razor, can you say the same? That IS sweet. I was also wondering if 440C is a good steel for razors? I have several vintage ones and they all seem to be carbon steel. That leads to most of them being rusted, but they are honed to exceptionally thin edges.
I don't think I would dare try using one to shave anyway

Thank you custombuff, but I never use this on my face because I never used a rasor like this. Missed me to build a razor, that's all! I am a maker, not a barber.Very nice, I like it a lot. You'll have to let us know how it shaves.

Thank you very much Chris, a cordial regard, StefanoThat is a very nice looking razor. Excellent work!
