My first real custom knife!

After a long wait I finally picked up my first custom knife from Jens Anso this weekend. Since I'm VERY happy with the result I'd like to share this with you all. The knife is based on a design which Jens calls the City Edges. It has a Twisted Rose Damasteel blade with matching bolsters and a Desert Ironwood handle. The backside has some nice filework, but this is hard to see on the pictures.

On my request the sheath has been designed by Jens to be worn horizontally on the belt and this works great with a knife this size.

Of course I cannot give you a good review of the performance of the knife yet, but it came very sharp and the balance is perfect (this is a result from the 'heavy' bolsters). Since I intend to use this knife on a regular basis I will post a more extensive review in the future.
 
That sure is a beatiful knife. From the pictures I have seen, Jens certainly does some stunning work.

Beautiful knife!!! The sheath is quite exceptional too. I love Jens work. I haven't been able to put my ANSO Hybrid down since I got it.
 
That looks like one very fine EDC! That sheath definitely does that knife proud! Good luck to you.
 
Jens does do excellent work, and I will also attest that he is a real pleasure to work with on a custom project! (Pictures will be posted when it is done ;) )

You and Buzz have 2 of the nicest Anso's I've ever seen.
Gotta get me one of those Damasheep one day.
