My first Recurve

Hello All,

I just wanted to post my first recurve. I was nervous about sharpening it, but it turned out well, no two inch gouges.

It is 10 inches OAL and about 4 3/4 cutting edge, 1095. It has a hollow ground primary bevel.

The handle is Tulipwood, it looks washed out in the pic, I took the photo outside with a little too much sun.

Sweet, but I am a sucker for recurves... I would like to see you make a much larger recurve around 15-18" OAL.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the kind words.. I appreciate it. I usually draw a knife before a profile it. I designed this one at the grinder. It was one of my favorites.
