My First San-Mai Damascus Spike Hawk

Thought since i'm on here i'd throw this in too.This is my first San-Mai Hawk and you think it's easy to try and keep thing's centered your sadly mis-taken.Total different ball game than a knife,still turned out better than i thought it would.

You can see how the core line drifted to one side on the blade,to much hammerin on one side

The pattern turned out really nice,some lucky bidder will have them a nice piece to add to their collection

Nice work as usual. If I may ask, I thought I'd seen you do Damascus before. What's the difference between a San-Mai and a "normal" Damascus?

exactly. i would have a hard time finding wood to chop that is sexy enough for my axe.
