My first Scandi Fixed Blades

I'm not sure exactly which post it was, but someone had some photos of a Scaninavian knife and it really caught my attention. Since then I have been wearing out the search function trying to learn about them. So with the confidence that usually goes with ignorance, I set out to buy one (or should I say 4). My first was a Helle Fjelkniven followed by a Brusletto NorgesKniven. I liked those so well I decided to pick up a Mora Crafline Allround and a Marttiini M571. All four knives arrived incredibly sharp and feel very good in the hand, especially the Helle. These things are like potato chips ... you can't have just one.

If I have place this in an inappropriate forum, please move it to the correct one.

Hey, I got one !! The mirror polished blade gave me fits while trying to get a decent photo of it.
