I picked up this Uncle Henry 897 UH at a yard sale today for $10. It was new in box. It had all the original paperwork and I thought it was pretty neat that the warranty card with it was filled in but was never mailed in so I know it was bought in 1996. This is my 3rd stockmen the other 2 being a Queen and Winchester. Although this one only has delrin sideplates I believe I like it better than the other 2. It has a nice medium pull and great snap but what I think differentiates it from my other 2 stockmen is all 3 blades have the same pull and same great snap. I'm not sure what steel is used for the blades but my guess would be stainless.
