I'm looking to buy my first SE spyderco.

I have owned a number of differant spyderco's and so far they have all be PE models.

I would like it to be a tip down model.

Current or old models, what are some good SE spydie's for EDC?

Thanks,

I strongly recommend the SE carbon fiber Police. It has been my EDC for a bout a month now. Knocked out the venerable 710 for now.

It's a really cool knife, and may have some collector value to it at some point, whether you use it or not.

John, is it really you?
I'd go for the CF Delica (it's tip up / down, VG-10). The Calypso jr. is also a great choice.

Yep, :)
How's it going?

Well it looks as if my first SE spydie is going to be a Jester.
Not what I had in mind, but I found it listed on the forums cheap so I had to get it :)
I will still be looking to get something larger in a SE spydie. The Delica's look great.

Try the Merlin. The hawkbill can be fun, plus the serrations are dramatic cutters on this sucker.

The only SEs I would use as EDC would be the Harpy-Merlin,Military or the Rescue.

Don't forget the Endura. I've had an SE/FRN model since 1991 and it has never failed to meet any challenge put before it.
