My First Sebbie

I finally did it and bought my first sebenza. I went lokking at them at a local gunshop that is renown for it's large and diverse selection of knives. I have been wanting one for years. A recent winfall provided the funds for the purchase. It is funny but being that I get my clothes the place place I shop for tires and groceries it is the most expensive thing I have on me. The thing that does it for me is that even though I am of modest means I have something that represents excellence, the best. It is not beautiful looking but rather beautifully put together. I fully intend to carry and use my sebenza like the useful companion I know it can be. This is by no means a negative observation but it looks and feels a lot smaller than I imagined it would be. Oh, by the way I got the large regular sebenza. I always like the blade shape of this one.

I just got my first Sebenza from a JD forum member. It came with the JD scale and a carbon fibre scale. I like it a lot!

Why not the LARGER sebenza... or the Medium Sebenza... The knife did not change. My box says "Large" too, but it is EXACTLY the same size as a Sebenza! Whooda thunk? ...but the Small is definitely small!

Sebenza's are the best my first one was a Sm. Classic. Sweet little knife! Not much use if you've got a Large though!
