Wife bought me a 25 just for the hell of it. Always wanted one, but could not justify it. Yesterday it arrived and I will be honest, I did have a "meh" moment, but in a good way. Back in the 1980/90's I used to work on bikes and cars....mainly VW GTi's, Mopars and a mix of Harleys and Yamaha RD/RZ's. When I worked on a friends bike or car, or one of mine I did whatever I could to avoid marking up a fitting. I used all Snap-On tools because at the time, they had non marring tools and very close tolerances.
This 25, while imho is higher quality then Snap-On, reminds me of them. Very few knives that I own say "tool" when you handle them, but with a certain understated elegance. The quality, attention to detail and tolerances is off the charts. I am extremely anal and I cannot find a single issue, flaw, blade centering issue....nothing....nada. I even took a lupe to it and found nothing. No knife I have ever owned has been this perfect.
So, as it was free, it will not be a safe queen and will be carried and used. But, I am sure my brown eye will pinch when I get my first snail trail. But am looking forward to when they cover it. Personally I think a well worn Sebenza looks better then a brand new one. Kinda like all my Snap-On's look now. They remind me of all the fun I had with them
