Well here it is. 2004 Large classic silver lug. I switched out the clip with the older one.

My question is why did they change to the new style pocket clip with the bump in the middle? Other than a different look, is there any benefit? The old style clip I put on looks much cleaner and flows with the lines better IMO.

the newer clip provides better retention by gripping in two places rather than only where the end meets the scale.

the new style clip seems to mimic the lockbar cutout, and I think it provides a little better retention without too much tension.

At the time, there was a lot of talk about the newer clip interfacing better with, and being less destructive to pocket hems.

I think people were generally divided in terms of which design worked better.

Aesthetically I prefer the old clip plus it presents a very low profile in the pocket especially when compared to the ones on most other knives. It also makes for a very smooth "draw" and there is very little resistance when clipping the knife back in the pocket.

I carried (and still often carry - see "Sebenza love" thread) a Small Sebenza with the old style clip in my right front pocket daily for close to twelve years without any worry but I will admit that the newer style ones seem to be more secure.

Neither are secure enough IMO. They need to make it like the clips on Benchmade or Spyderco knives. I love my large Seb but I feel way better about the BM710 or Spydie Military in my pocket. Those things are NOT falling out but I could probably make the Seb fall out on accident. I know that a belt sheath is an option but I'm a pocket clip guy.
