Well after looking and drooling over the beautiful simplicity of those titanium slabs and stonewashed blade. I finally went ahead and followed through with one of my most exceptional purchases to date. The Chris Reeve Wilson Combat Small Starbenza!!! And boy was she worth it. I knew I was going purchase a CRK, but wasn't sure which configuration it would be.
Initially my plan was to get the Small 21 with Micarta Inlays, followed by the plain jane Large Insingo. Which probably will still happen seeing as the purchase of these knives causes a disease like addiction, that can never be fully fulfilled. Can someone tell me why there isn't a warning label on the box? I mean most dangerous things have such. Well I'm to far gone now for it to even be effective. But let this be a warning to you first buyers!
Now besides her being the looker that she is, the pure satisfaction you get when your thumb touches the stud to actuate the opening is simply dream like. We've all heard the saying of "it feels like the ball detent is riding on glass". Well I'm here to tell you today that is a understatement. Can anyone say "I can't believe it's not butter"!!!!! Seriously, it feels like I took my knife in hand, put it under water, and started to open it. It don't get now better than that if you ask me.
Honestly I could go on, and on, and on, and on, but I'm really not the conversationalist talker type (can't you tell), hehe. So enough with the talking and more with the pictures.
