I am ready to buy my first Sebenza. I have decided that I want the small classic. I am having trouble deciding between plain, wood, or micarta. It will be a weekend carry. I need some advice.

Which one do you like best?

Buy that one.

Good advice.

I like the wood but am concerned that is will get damaged.

I guess you don't need to worry too much for that. But if you do - go for the Micarta inlays.

Oh, and once you have one, you'll want more! Welcome to the addiction!:D And welcome to the forums!

Kind regards,

Jos

My weekend knife is the small wood classic. My EDC knife is the micarta. Both are great.

Sage advice. Go with your gut. I recently picked up a Sebenza after admiring them for close to ten years. Out of all the variations I went with the one that first caught my eye, a large regular.

there are many people carrying wood inlay sebs as edc. i doubt you will have an issue if that is the one you want for a weekender.

just make sure you buy the one you want. if you settle, it will bug you every day.
