I have always wanted a Sebenza and the other day my opportunity came along: a used Large 21 at an amazing price. Based on the seller's description I was expecting to send it back to CRK for reconditioning, but I was very pleasantly surprised to find it in almost new condition.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I just can't believe how well made this knife is. I have owned several models from both Spyderco and Benchmade, but none of them come close to the near perfect fit and finish of this knife.

And now for some pictures.

You're not kidding. I have now have a Mnandi and an Umnumzaan on the way.:D

Good lookin knife there !! Hows the lock up....ahahahaha...just kiddin....enjoy yur new knife...i wish i would have had a knife like this when i was starting out.

Uhhh, yeah. Resisted for years, decades. My boys gave me a small Seb inlay Classic for Christmas and since then it has been joined by a large Seb, an Umfaan, an Mnandi and an Umnumzaan that stayed a while and then found a new home. You can reckon figures and do math of the financial and dimensional kind, but getting one of these in your hands completely changes the calculus.

i have always said that i always bought a lot of knives until i bought my first crk. now i can start collecting. :)

Great looking blade, hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine:D

Congrats! Looks new to me. Carry it and use it -- you'll get many years of enjoyment from it. I've got my first Seb in my pocket as I'm typing this.

They are in another class. Once you go down this road you wont go back. I dont know when the last time a benchmade or spyderco made it into my pocket.

There's definitely something special about that first Sebenza and it's even nicer when it's in better condition that you were expecting.

welcome dude, there's two phases in life, the dark, pre CRK phase and the other one :D
