So tonight I finally took the plunge and purchased my first CRK. Girlfriend was sick of being talking about one for months now and finally pushed me into looking for one, even offered to pay 1/4 of the cost!

This beauty is a 2009 Annual Large Sebenza in Box Elder Burl.

I'm currently waiting for it to arrive and I must say I'm giddy as a school girl on prom night.

Heres a picture from the previous owner.

Thanks Bladeforums!

Christmas Has Come early For You, You Are Going To Love That Knife, Box Elder Burl Is One Of The Pretest Woods CRK Has Ever Used IMO.

That is gorgeous. I'll take it off of your hands when you are ready to part with it.

first one?? You took a heck of a jump What a great looking Knife...next week you'll have 10....seriously they are very addictive.

THAT is a beautiful knife.

And the more you carry it, the more you're gonna love it!

That knife has some wonderful looking burl. Wait until you get it and can move it around in the light, it will look 3D.

Very nice first sebenza! Elder Burl is one of my most favorite woods. Nice pick for your first CRK!!!

Went to pick it up at the post office a few minutes ago and they didn't sort the mail for my area yet, bastards.

Only a few hours to wait now though. :D

Ha... I know how you feel. I just got my 1st sebenza last week :D. You are gonna love it! Once you get it in your hand try to wiggle that blade around with your other hand.... you see, not the slightest wiggle and it still smoothly folds up and down. Tightest lockup mixed with the smoothest folding action. That is hard to do.

Ordered the same knife last night. It will be my 2nd annual and my 3rd sebenza. I will have an '08 an '09 and put my name in for a '11 annual. I just need a '10 spalted and then I will be happy/broke.

I have two points to make:

Point #1:

Point #2: The fact that you call it your "first" Sebenza, necessarily implies that there will be a second (and, perhaps, a third . . . and so on it goes).

Well after handling this Sebenza I'm already interested in trying out a small one. :D

This knife is absolutely beautiful, time to take her apart and put her back together.

More pictures man! :D

Ya you definitely need to try out a small. I can't decide which I like better because they are both top notch. Even though the small is smaller, it is not too small. Also, it still feels great in the hand even though I didn't think it would. I was amazed, lol.

And damn I must say I was in awe at the craftsmanship but after taking it apart, gently wiping it off, and reassembling; then having it work just as it did before I touched it...  :D

I also think I'm going to look around for a sheath maker so I can get a custom leather belt sheath for my new toy, any suggestions?
