I'm excited about this knife!!! I just ordered it and, believe me, it's been a tough choice. I've read the reviews and after looking at a lot of khukuris, bought yours. The HIAK was double the cost, but I don't believe it's twice the knife. I'm also a Tactical Knives subscriber and look forward to reading up on these knives. Thanks for a great opportunity.

And, Tangstamp, I can just about guarantee that this will not be the last khukuri you order. These things are extremely addicting! I know whereof I speak -- I am a stone addict!!!!!!

I'm gonna chime in here with Steven and Kozak. I'd wanted a Khukuri since I was a kid (many, many moons ago) and decided to order a GH SN-1 with some of my '98 income tax refund money. I'm now the proud owner of a standard SN-1 (my user and favorite), a custom handled SN-1 by Maddog 2020, a Deluxe Presentation SN-1, a 16" AK, a Mini-Jungle and a Micro-me. I also have a WW III (serial number 3) and a Khurmi Khukuri on the way.

Just a word of warning. DO NOT unsheath your Khuk inside the house for more than a few moments at a time. You'll find yourself wondering if you could cut up that table or chair with just a few quick chops.

Blackdog, have to agree. Unsheathing a khukuri just makes you want to use it....

Tangstamp: I think that if you don't wear a gas mask and a sterile suit, you'll get khukuri-itis once your package comes.

And incidentally, I think you may have the disease already, as I think you've just ordered a second one (the WW). It's already gone out, so if you only wanted one, send back the one you didn't want.

I'm actually GLAD you are getting both the SN1 and the WW, as you'll have a chance to try both of them out to see which one you really wanted most.
