now i start whit sewing. Take measure of holes and multiply x6. I prepare 2 egual lan whit 2 needle. At the first hole i leave a piece of lan for return sewing. i pull strong at all holes. At the end you return for 2 or3 hole so the sew is very strong.

Fat for shoes and i finish my work. The sheath was built in little time and isn't finished.

PS. thanks for your time and sorry for my english

Looks very good for your first. The stitching is good.

Some suggestions: Use an inexpensive razor knife or box cutter to trim your leather. A saw makes ragged edges.

Buy an edger and a stitch groover from Tandy. the stitches will lay inside the groove and look nicer. It also protects the stitches. Use the edger around the edges for a more rounded look.

Don't apply any finishes or gum tragacanth etc before staining. This will resist the stain.

Considering it was recycled leather and you had no real leather tools, you did a fantastic job. I applaud you and your ability to do anything with nothing!!:thumbup::thumbup:

thanks for suggestions. i see the tandy tools, are realy effets. i prefer natural color leather and i apply fat only for finish.
