I stripped my BK 2. Did notice some yellow staining on the blade after I stripped it. Dont know if that was from the stripper, but it rubbed out with some fine grit sand paper. Then I Tiger Striped it with brown mustard and vinegar. I know, no big deal, nothing others havent already done, but first time for me. Thought I would share a pic. Tried my best to get the best shot of the blade without the flash washing out the tiger stripes. I am pretty pleased with the way that it came out. Thanks. Bill - Wannabe Beckerhead

I bought a can of Citristrip Paint and Varnish Stripper at Wally World. It works well, just spray it on and wait about an hour, it bubbles up the finish on the knife and you can scrape it right off. I use a plastic putty knife to scrape with. You will need some fine grit sand paper or a scotch brite pad to use after you strip it, to get the nooks and crannies and to shine it up. You will be surprised at the occasional discoloration and tool marks you will see when you strip it.

I was worried you went Moose hunting to make some chili to go with your biscuits...

Nice mods though man.

Great patina. My 2 is very similar, using A-1 sauce and spicy brown mustard. I like it. Yours looks great with the micarta.
