Here is my first knife made for a customer and the first moasic pin I have made, I met a nice guy from the Water patrol police in Geneva,Al one day at Subway, we some how got on the conversation of knives and he ordered on from me:). I forged this out of 5160 bar stock, Heat treated and tempered, and its sharp as hell. Mr Haynes comes to get the knife on the 19th of this month, I hope hes happy,LOL I followed a fellow members recipe for 5160 and it worked awesome. I cut with it allday and its still very sharp. Thanks everyone for all your help, without some of you guys I would be in the dark, I really appreciate all your help,Charlie

Picture taken by my lovely wife!!, but I see some oil left below the ricasso,LOL

Great looking knife! I am working on one very similar, just a different handle shape. What handle material is that?

Purpleheart, I just put the tung oil to it and sanded it to around 1000 grit, turned out good, Thanks for all the nice comments,Charlie

The grinders running ok, definitely better than it was,LOL I can now grind level freehanded without having to drop one side of the blade, Thanks again for all the nice comments,Charlie
