This is my first slipjoint folder. The screws and backbar have been fileworked. The liners are titanium. There is also a sterling ring at the end of the backbar for a watch chain. The blosters have also been grooved for a classic look. It also has a halfstop. Great walk and talk, fit and finsih.

Knife Info
Full Length 5 inches
Blade Length 2 inches
Blade Material Craig Barr Egypt pattern Damascus
Handle Material Goldlip Mother of Pearl
Bolsters/Guard Sterling Silver
Thanks for looking,
Chuck

Very nice. I like the swedge on the blade, half stop, long pull and grooved bolster. Oh ya, the pearl and damascus too.

Excellent as always Chuck. Was there anything about making a slipjoint that was better or worse than doing the ususal liner locks or autos?

It was a totally different type of knife for me to make. I didn't have to worry about screw placement because there was no lock to cut out. I think that making different types of mechanisms make me more versitle as a maker.
I'm working on a second one already!
Regards,
Chuck

Very nice -- great take on a traditional type of blade.
