my first slipjoint (on my own)

so here u go,
here's the first on on my own in black micarta, SS liners, laminated Hitachi white steel that I forged, 1095 spring

a little rough around the edges, not perfect, and I messed up the rear tang so the half stop is not the best, but many things did go well
and I even sold it

well I have two more that I just finished up that are essentially the same, helps me to sort out the process and figure it out.
I'll continue to work with this pattern and design and sort out the blade length to handle length.

I'll continue to forge the laminated steel blade and let the knife evolve as I get feedback etc.
I might make myself one in stag

I also have a new friction folder design that I'm releasing and maybe it will work as a slipjoint - here it is in stag

thanks, wish I could take the credit for the designs,

the slipjoint is actually my version of a fixed blade I own by Howard Hitchmough called a slim hunter.

The friction folder has the handle influence of a Jame Rodebaugh bird and trout fixed blade and David Lespect blade style,

both required developing and making patterns

if anyone has any suggestions for changes or improvements, I'm certainly open to hearing your thoughts.
