here is my first snake skin busse :D. i got this from a fellow hog (thanks knifehunter). this is the white snake game warden with the pen tip. i'll try to get more pics of the tip sunday. i had no idea it was this pretty. here are a couple of pics, and the last one with it's brother. also does any one have a pic of a snake pbs? i know there on here i just can't seem to find one. well anyway enjoy.

Hang onto that one. VERY valuable and I thought KH was under-pricing it, to be honest.

Now you need to quest a pile more snaked INFI. It's harder and harder to find now. ;)
 
thank ya'll for the kind word's. i took t's advice, and used some burl for the photo's. they turned out better than i thought they would. except for the last photo, i think the camera was nervous to much infi. i really need some more snakes after holding this one, this stuff is awesome. here's a pic or two of that "zombie brain" wood.

Nice Burl(and SS INFI too)! I'm going to the wood mill tomorrow, now I've got to go through and see if their is some burl I can afford.
 
What, roughly speaking, is a maple burl that size worth these days (hopefully with no carpenter ant damage inside)?

it's a cherry knot and i'm also wondering what it's worth. the amishman up the mountain is gonna cut it for me thurs/friday. i think i'm gonna cut it in 2" thick board's. also i got a fat gw in the mail yesterday( thank's burf151). the snake is nice but this one really fill's my hand. it came with a chuddy sheath very nice! so i sharpen it to a razor, then go meet some friend's for beer and wing's. this is were the fun start's. so ever bar/fire we stop at we are using this thing. we used this more in one drunken night than most do in a month! the only comp[laint i heard was "boy that prybar cut's nice, but it's heavy". that was the only bad thing. so we split wood, throw, chop, and one mishap with the tip and asphalt. after an all night delouge you could still push cut a dollar bill. so i finally get home then walk out in the wood's behind the house to chop down a tree, this is were it get's blurry. so i wake up in my chair with it still in my hand. i'm lucky i didn't bleed my self out. finally here are a few pics. did i mention that we beat the sh@t out of this thing!!

I had my ASH1 on the nightstand once and picked it up to fondle it before going to sleep. Next thing I know, I woke up, staring right at the knife inches away on the bed next to me. :eek:

That'd be a tough one to explain at the ER....
